Octopussy's note is pretty much on spot. The wine showed ripe red and black cherry, earthy aspects, mild vegetal notes, cola, liquorice, mild spice and creamy vanilla, complemented by a mineral component, with good acidity, a good, creamy mouthfeel and good length. The wine finished on a metallic note. It was ripe and full in Burgundy terms and the tannin was still present. The wine kept developing with aeration and was accessible already, but I recommend to hold your bottles for another 10 years. 89+ for now.

Pop‘n‘pour. Ruby red. In the nose, this is very balanced, red and black cherry, floral aromas, not super complex, but very bright and clean. In the mouth, it still has some hard edges, the tannins are rather soft, the acidity is fresher than in many 2009s , good balance, a joy to drink.
pretty perfumed nose of cherry skin, pomegranate, and floral elements. color is a dark cranberry. upon entry. tart. gains complexity. minerality and some earthy spiciness follow with a finish of tart plums, tart berries and some red ripe berries - subtle ripe, but it is there, and it gives this wines a mid weight that has a lot of complexity for the pedigree. Also, this has evolved with about 90 minutes of air. tomorrow will see how remaining half bottle is.

Light, pure cherry notes. Good. Not too full.
