In the quest for a high QPR everyday Pinot, this one is a maybe. At first taste I was encouraged, but that impression wasn't maintained through the bottle.

When I first poured and sniffed this the aromas initially made me think that I had opened a Grenache by mistake. Cherries & rosemary on the nose. Both follow through on the palate which, unfortunately, come across somewhat sticky & sweet.
It's hard, if at all possible, to find a good, yet cheap Pinot. This one is fair but its cloying and the sweetness is just too much for me.

Well made, but that is the point -- made, and tastes that way a bit of RS, a touch of fake oak, its all there. Not bad at $17.
