Made from autochthonal portuguese grape Maria Gomes this wine offers a nose of white flowers, white peach and tangerines with some undertones of honey. Fresh, crisp and dry. Good acidity on the attack, a bit thin on the mid-palate but with a nice salty mineral finish reminiscent of a cool sea breeze. A fairly light, clean and refreshing white for the summer months that doesn't offer too much depth but should go well with all kinds of sea foods and salads.

GRAPE VARIETIES: MARIA GOMES (FERNÃO PIRES), SERCIALINHO ALCOHOL BY VOLUME: 12%
Appearance: Clear, medium lemon. Clean nose of medium intensity, developing. Aroma characteristics: subtle green- and citrus fruit (pear, grapes, mandarine) with hints of florality, ripeness and minerality (orange blossom, honey, sea breeze). Dry on the palate with medium(+) level og acidity. Medium(-) level of alcohol, medium(-) bodied. Medium intensity. Flavours are similar to the nose, but less expressive. Medium length.
Quite nice. The wine has fine balance between freshness and aroma. Somewhat reminiscent of a light, dry Muskateller, though not quite as aromatically expressive. Ready to drink, will not improve.

Tasted like flat champagne. Yeasty, sugary, a bit floral.

Muscat-like nose with some chenin-blanc notes. Peach, white fruit; palate has clean good fruit, fresh; not much of a finish. A nice quaffer. 82-83
