Dark red color, very aromatic nose : red fruit (strawberry...), slightly spicy, toasted, vanilla... , complex and rich mouth, well fruity, wonderful tannin satin-like, and very good length. Can be drunk now until 2020.
Outstanding in this AOC. Best wine for this producer.

Wow, this was quite a surprise. I'm pretty sure I paid less than $20 for this wine. Nose was great, classic Bordeaux. Color and body was a bit lighter in style but on the palate this packed a serious punch. A good mix of pepper, spice, red fruits and tannins. Was better after 1-2 hour decant. I hope this is an indication of what's to come with the '09 vintage.
