  Medium garnet red, bright and light bodied. Initially this wine had aromas of cedar, cigar and barnyard. The first taste was a flood of chewy tannins and pepper followed by vanilla, butter, dark cherry and ripe strawberries. If this wine had not changed while open, i would have poured it out and given it a low 80's score. Good news, with a little patience, this wine changes dramatically. After an hour, aromas of leather and honeysuckle predominated. Flavors of mildly tart dark fruits in an envelope of well balanced tannins and acid. I found the wine quite enjoyable as the last glass was drained. Need to go find a few more bottles.
