Retreat; 6/6/2014-6/8/2014 (Anvil Vineyard and Ranch): Slightly more golden color; more petrol notes, more moderated nose; palate is light, midpalate acidity is superb, tartness builds throughout the palate; refreshing finish. I was using this wine to represent the petrol notes in German Riesling and it was perfect for that. 89-90

Pear and lemon cider. Stanky nose. But it's past its peak. The last bottle in our collection.

Yup, I think I called it last time. If you have this in your cellar, drink it soon. It's peaked and on its way out.
