Screwcap, 14% alc. Very deep, dark, opaque inky black-red.
Whoosh. Like a black hole, sucking you into the intense fragrance. Tar, blackberry, cherry, violets, pan juices, 5 spice, lead pencils, tobacco and coffee.
Slippery and luscious upfront on the palate, before firming up on the back end. Supple, dusty tannins. Very long finish. Beautifully balanced.
Opinion: Wonderful, complex shiraz. Drink over the next 10 years.

Outstanding wine. Full bodied, intense but so beautifully rounded. Blue and black berries, red plums, tobacco, cloves, coffee and earth. Smooth, integrated tannins. Long, lingering finish. This is lovely with years in front of ti.

Plum, liquorice, chocolate, red and blue berries. Palate is fleshy and rounded, with spice, savoury notes and well integrated tannins. Good length here. It’s quite delicious.

Remarkably rounded. There is good depth to the wine with black and red fruits, plums, tobacco and liquorice. Firm tannins and integrated acidity round out the wine. In my view the Syrah is better than the Shiraz Viognier year after year. It will improve for a few more years, and then last for many more. Top class.

All plums and berries on the nose. The mid weight palate is tightly packed with juicy, dark plums. The oak, acids and tannins are so balanced that they appear to be almost hidden. It's primary still. Give it time.
