Garnet color in the glass, clear looking throughout. Nose is vegetal with added notes of spice and berries. Flavors of berries and balsamic. Medium acidity, medium tannins, medium body. Short finish. According to the owner the bottle was likely heat damaged during transit. No rating.

This was a big sangiovese. A bit jammy, and reminded me of a jammy Zinfandel. At 15.3% alcohol the fruit was awfully ripe. I enjoyed it, but it wasn't a typical sangiovese.

This had an interesting vegetal streak over decent and tart Sangiovese fruit. Too much heat for me, though. No score.
