  Well I must say that sometimes old bottles can surprise you. we held out no hope for this bottle and yet... it was great fun. It poured showing every bit its age with a brown rim and the body being quite translucent. The nose was all tertiary elements with wood, leather, undergrowth, while the palate followed through with a most enjoyable medium weight, super dry, food friendly wine. The oldest Zin I've had, but delicious. (Cork)
