Lighter golden color. Nose: lemon, pineapple core, and fresh apricot with accents of creme brulee, orange peel, and hazelnut . Medium/full body on the palate: pineapple core, fresh apricot, and lemon curd framed by creme brulee, lemon/lime peel, river stone, and a touch of hazelnut. Medium acidity. Lingering lemon curd, creme brulee, and hazelnut on the moderate/shorter finish. Despite the shorter length, this is an outstanding Cali Chardonnay value. Deliciously luscious fruit with a very attractive oak treatment. Drink now.

Forward, fitting firmly into the Monterey Chardonnay mold, with bright aromas of melon, sweet oak, plastic and a hint of straw. Medium+ bodied on the palate, with medium acid and simple sweet melon flavors that finish richly. The 10% Viognier in the blend is tough to find.

I'd put this in the upper end of the $14 bottles of wine. Fruity but still crisp with a heftier feel. Apples, berries, buttered baguettes.
