Great noes of dark fruit, leather and earth. Tastes of dark berries. light tannings, earth, leather, and well bananced nd complex flavors. A mature wine altough somewat young. Smooth and nice feel in the mouth. A ture special wine. Nice lingering finish.

elegant wine -- very smooth, not tannic at all -- silky mouthfeel and soft, no hard edges and very easy drinking - not sure why we only bought one of these when we were at the winery, it easily ranks as one of the better Virginia wines we bought on our last tour - maybe a tad overpriced at $26.95, but very good - we will buy again when we are down in Charlottesville area again.

An exquisite floral and fruity nose which leads to a gorgeous palate - a wonderfully balanced and well-structured blend. Characteristics of all included varietals come through. Tannins are in near-perfect balance. This would be a perfect burger or steak wine. Corked it and finished the next day. It was even smoother on the second day. It was even more approachable. It was a shame to have to swallow.

Aged nicely. Drank with appetizers before dinner. Nice expression of Central Virginia red blends.
