  Had very earthy aromas of slate, coffee, veggies, raspberries and cranberries . Its medium bodied palate has more of the same in a four square freshly fruited format. Ends shortish earthy and slightly drying. A bit disappointing as Meyer Nakel is in the top five list of German SPATBURGUNDER: This entry level wine isnt up to scratch.

  Bit dissapointing and in no way reflects what i tasted at meyer nakel when visiting during summer 2012. Sour cherry, flat aftertaste and even a day later not coming together at all. Gonna let my other bottles rest for a year or so.
