Nose is a bit muted but there's sense of place on the palate. This isn't an uber example of barolo but wasn't expecting one either. Good just not great.

See Markjanes below. Very good but still more to go I sense. Could go either way but I think the fruit will hold out but I have not tried 20 year old Barolo from Molino so will have to wait and see

Atypically dark in color, red rim, moderate + extraction. On the nose good aromatic intensity with very dark cherry fruits, lots of pine spice... over time the wine develops cedar and mahogany notes, some nice dried spices, some flowers and tar, fruit gets a little prunish. On the palate a nice gradual ascent of high acidity, a fleshy and full midpalate, a very smooth transition into a firmly tannic finish (moderate ripeness and starting to integrate)... moderate alcohol. Very nice balance, good length and intensity... moderate + complexity. Wine has good finesse, a lovely texture and palate-feel, and other than color is quite Barolo in nature... pretty firm for La Morra. I agree with others below... this wine is not yet at peak performance, give it another 3-5 and try it again though it is in a "good" place now with some decanter time. Very good to excellent wine that is texturally quite outstanding.

Dark ruby with little signs of bricking suggesting no hurry to drink this yet. Nice barolo with an expansive mid-palate and good structure. Approachable now although the tannins should soften with time and there is potential for improvement.
