Rose Fest 2011 The Gourmet Shop, Columbia, SC: 85% Grenache, and 15% Cinsault, in a good way this wine is considerably lighter than you might expect from those two grapes. The fruit comes right at you in a focused and bright manner. You can tell these were some ripe, pedigreed grapes. Then it settles down in the mouth to a very refreshing red smoothness. At the finish, you once again are reminded with a touch of earth and tannin where this wine is from. Very nice.
