Last bottle of four, very nice nose, the palate was full of cranberry, pomegranate, raspberry very nice smooth long finish with a sweet tart like after taste. Twelve year old Virginia Bordeaux blend, quite impressive.

Decated for sediment a bit surpriseing that there was no sediment. Last tasted 2 years ago, very pleasant nose of plums, cola and mint, on the palate plenty of cherry, plum, cassis and a nice touch of earthy notes. This Bordeaux blend is certainly in it's drinking window but still has a couple three years of drinking pleasure.

Decanted & tasted, flavors opened with time, herbal notes as I find in many Virginia reds, hints of menthol, with complex undertones of black cherry, currants, cassis and plums, still some tannins to shred. Very nice example of a mid Atlantic red that has some aging potential. Way overpriced!!

A bit musty, terrior, eucalyptus nose, blueberry, boysenberry, cola, simular to right bank claret, still some tannins to intergrate. Overall a nice food friendly terroir driven blend.

Reserve Tasting at Williamsburg Winery (Williamsburg Winery, Williamsburg, VA): this is smoky and rich, a huge step up from the previous wines in the tasting. Interesting raspberry notes on the finish. We liked this one.
