3 Decades of Brunellos & Rossos from Montalcino (Portland, OR) On first opening, did not enjoy at all. Seemed too hot. Opens up with air but was still disappointed.

Finally opened this wine and it was well worth the wait. 10 years after harvest, bottle ageing only improved the wine's silkiness, old world incredible mineral notes, cherry dusted with mocha, earth, and spice. Wonderful effort which transported me back to Montalcino in 2005! Beautiful wine.

very good Montalcino, a little hot at first. Great nose. needs at least an hour to decant.

Wonderful nose with full flavors of raisin, plum, cherry, smoke. Decanted and let sit for an hour or more. Absolutely fantastic.
