while the wine has not gained a whole lot of complexity over the years it has gained a soft touch of grace and roundness, forest, plum and blueberry on the nose, the spherical palate rolls a wave of red and blue fruit, cherry pit and exotic spice over the palate, great acid support, really smooth, really delicious, this soars in 2016

Opened at Otis' CDP. My favorite new world Pinot at this party. Creamy vanilla notes underlying rich red and black fruit. Medium bodied. Liked Varners Pinot much better than the Chard I had this year (not surprising). 92 points.

Received as a gift. If you like high-toned Pinot with acid and minerality, this is terrific. If you like sappy California Pinot, this will not be your style.

Plum and strawberry notes with prominent acidity that makes it good with food. Not complex - a bit one dimensional - but it has a nice delicacy.
