  • Drinking well. Some acidity, balanced with sweet freshness. Drink with food. Drinking well.

  • This had to follow a top German riesling in a blind tasting and it came across as too tart...but the little tart recovered later when palates were recovered and folks came to their senses....nice fruit and holding up nicely after all of these years....

  • As enjoyable a $15 white as I've had, just super. Eleven years after vintage, this seems to have just rounded the corner into adulthood: the acidity is rounding out, texture is oilier and weightier, and notes of oxidation are just barely creeping in. Of course that's all predicated on speculation of where this wine's coming from - wish I'd had at least one bottle a while back and more for a few years hence to follow its evolution. Nose and palate as described by others: fruits & flowers etc. are subtle, it's more about mineral-rich stone and brine. In a somewhat mellowed, less cutting context of this adult bottle. Great with a couple varied meals; cheapskate heaven with a whole roast branzino (shove a few thyme sprigs and thin lemon slices into it, 425F for 18-20 min),

  • Light but aromatic with notes of melon, flowers, and nuts on the nose. The palate is also light but fairly complex with melon, lemon/lime, and a bit of a butterscotch/nutty note rounding out the finish. It tastes fresh while also having a bit of oxidation, nice for a white 11 years old and showing Melon de Bourgogne's potential for aging. That being said I'd drink it sooner rather than later while the freshness is still there.

  • Still pale and fresh. Vibrancy has relaxed a bit to let the fruit through. A complete wine and a great value.
