  • Medium yellow color, with aromas of kiwi and lime. The sip features penetrating citric acidity that is vivid and lively. Very throat coating after the swallow. Richly textured. Despite being 19 years old and kept open for 5 days, has zero sign of oxidation. Overall, a superb example of why Meursault is rightly famous for making ageworthy world class Chardonnay.

  • Translucent light yellow color with no brown tone at all. Aromas of lemon and flowers with no butterscotch or apple cider. The dominant flavor in the sip is lively and vivid citric acidity. The upfront mouth feel is more juicy and palette scrubbing than mouth coating, but vigorously sloshing the wine all around the mouth unveils a light vanilla and the first hint of an oily texture. The swallow glides down the throat on mists of buttered olive oil. Overall, this 18 year old Chardonnay remains a still interesting and evolving Chardonnay with classic Meursault richness.
