A Dinner with Enrico Santini (Corney & Barrow at Devonshire Terrace, London): 40% Cab Sauv / 35% Merlot / 20% Syrah / 5% Sangiovese. 20 months in oak 60% new. Oak notes on the nose interlaced with dark fruit, vanilla to begin tailing off into more herby/minty notes. On the palate it feels young (still needs to integrate the oak a bit more) but the tannins are smoothing out and it is not harsh. Found it a bit light on the mid palate , thin almost. Ok on the finish. 88-90

A black violet colour with a black fruit and roast beef taste.
Very smooth and round with a nice finish
