Big wine with noticeable french oak. Drinking well now, but I imagine this has a long life ahead of it

A little acid, I feel the alcohol of the wine.
Champs, Burgs, Barolos, Malbecs @ Leo's (Leo & Connies's in Eastchester, NY): [Clay soil. Planted in 1960.] More liqueurous in the nose. Kirsch. Rich and stunning up front, but a bit short right now compared to the others. Very young. 91-93 points.
