Nicely developed secondary flavors and some hint of tropical fruit as well. Great acidity and structure. Much better than I remember from the first bottle a few years ago. Very impressive.

Back to Mistral (Princeton, NJ) for the last bottle of this wine. The wine missed some of the better pairings (e.g., especially the red snapper), but was still delicious!

At Mistral (Princeton): delicious wine with notes of apple, pear, mineral and flint. Excellent with the tuna crudo (cucumber, crispy yubo, smoked egg yolk), and with the black cod (solo) and the brocollini.

(13%) Gifted to me by Luis and holy mole this is good! Light, mineral, green apple spiced nose. Dry, powerful and vibrant on the palate with layers of flavor. Tart pears, white pepper spice, flinty and so much more before a creamy, crisp finish. Perfectly balanced. Wish I had more of this in the cellar. Both compelling and delicious! Could drink this for days. Looks like it runs ~$20 and is definitely worth the price of entry.

Seriously dry, and I'm still trying to decide if I like dry riesling, so take this note with a grain of salt... I get the petrol, plenty of white fruit--pear, unripe peach. A hint of pineapple. But it strikes me as a bit harsh. One was enough for me.
