Absolutely delicious! An impressive and decadent effort from Zerba who was just named the Northwest Winery of the Year... and deservedly so. This wine has beautiful complex fruit without being too in your face, along with a delicate floral aspect and some notes of spice and graham cracker after it breaths for a while. Inky and bold but with soft well integrated tannins, integrated and well balanced oak, and a finish that hints at an undercurrent of acidity without even approaching tart. This is a hedonistic crowd pleaser of a wine - one that will surely impress at any special occasion.
