  • Earthy nose of wet leaves, with hints of cherry cola and bay leaf. Intense, mouth-puckering palate, with tight tannins and sour acidity. Flavours of lemon juice, cherry, raspberry, and dried thyme. The palate is tight and closed, even a few hours after opening. It's nice, but I don't think it's ready to drink; it needs more time to open up, which is surprising, considering it's a Pinot Noir that's already nine years old.

  • Wow! Brought this back from a trip to New Zealand in May 2011. One of the best Pinots I ever tasted! Elegant and smooth with luxurious cherry and red fruit flavors. Perfectly balanced with a long pleasant finish. Sexy. Divine.
