Livermore: The Day Before The Storm; 9/3/2011-9/4/2011 (Livermore, California.): $42. From vineyards near the Petaluma Ridge. Sweet fruit, including cherry cola despite some prominent acid. A firm tannin backbone, overall a big wine but not harsh. Several dollars cheaper than the the one single vineyard I tried, but I liked this one better. Very Good.
