Bought two bottles for 13/b during a local gourmet grocer's liquidation sale 3+ years ago. I had low expectations; the last CT TN on this was 3.5 years ago, and the oldest vintage on Searcher is '14. Served well chilled with smoked salmon on pumpernickel, following Hugh Johnson's pairing advice. Very pale yellow; fragrant fruit; crisp entry and very good mouthfeel, fruit very much intact; some lingering finish. Some nuances but not complicated, thoroughly satisfying. From past experience, this wine can fall fast when declining, but this was delicious--would hesitate to push age much farther. Stored horizontally in a cool, dark basement since purchase. My evaluation: I've stopped giving scores on a "100-point scale" as I've become less convinced that they can be meaningful to others. I use a 4-category scale (perhaps with +/-)--not including flawed--which runs outstanding/notable/drinkable/poor. I considered this outstanding- when considering quality, age, and price.

Lime zest, sea salt and some minerals and some grapefruit notes. There is a little bit of that grassy aftertaste that I often get with some sauvignon blancs. Goes well with fresh goat cheese.

Lime zest, sea salt, minerals, and a little grassy note. Nice for the price.
