Good Graves. PnP. Perfect cork. Some sediment. Got a bit better with some time and air. Surprisingly less power and structure than the - lower ranked - Crabitey 2016 of the same village (Portets). Price tag in 2021-06: 17€/bottle. By far not at the end of its drinking window.

Earthy, lots of gravels. Finishing with touch of vanilla, toast coffee. Good minerals with Asian spices as well. However it's a bit one dimensional. Average finishing.

Opened 8h prior. Deep colour. Restrained nose at first but it opened nicely in the glass. Excellent soft fruit - blackberry, black cherry with some cherry stones late. Silky texture. A very nice bottle indeed. A small sample was tasted next day. The nose was good and the wine was softer and sweeter. V.g with Stilton cheese. 90-91 Tasted with Simon March (Evington's Wines) at Grand Union Wine Society.

fine Graves (Portets) with enough structure. Enough time for the remaining bottles.
