I know that this is supposed to be outside of the drinking window for this wine, but it certainly is not. The fruit (raspberry and dark cherry) are fresh, the tannin fully integrated. There are nuances of earth, mushroom and oak. This still has time left, maybe 2-3 years, but is drinking beautifully today.

Popped and poured. Loads of black fruit, cassis, licorice, and spice kept in check by med-high acid. Lengthy finish with lingering dark fruit. This was a nice surprise and I plan on purchasing a bottle to lay down.

Ruby colored. A little meaty (Might be because I was cooking while trying it), along with blackberry, fig, and some decent minerality on the nose. Taste: Cassis, Blackberry, Cherry, Plum, and Cinnamon. Medium, Smooth texture.
Another great value from Portugal.

Agree with Whudock. The "drinking window" for this wine is based on one person's opinion, and he made the window too narrow! Still excellent.

extremely well balanced between its fruit, earth and wood notes. Longish finish. A solid alternative for beef.
