Light to medium colour, with no sign of age. Fresh, lively, sappy fruit of cherry and raspberry. Rather light on the palate, perhaps even lean, but this is well-made, attractive and with some basic Burgundy character. A good entry-level wine. Still quite youthful, with a little tannin on the finish, so this might improve over the next 2 to 3 years.

Sylvain Pataille's basic 09 has fleshed out quite a bit since last year, when it was very lean - stony structure and a thin layer of delicate fruit. This time around we get some more depth. The style here is naked, pure and honest, but the wine is also a great pleasure to drink.

This is a wine that grows on you. The purity of fruit and the stony minerality, these are qualities to savour on its own, or with some fried flatfish from nearby Öresund. Both we and our guests are very happy with the style of this wine.

Lean, slightly thin and austere upon opening, more fullness and sweeter fruit on day two. Lovely then.

Taxing in for prime drinking the upcoming summer. Really sympathetic, only thing you might want to hold on for is a bit of early maturity.
