From 375. Lots of earth, mushrooms, and stones on the nose at the pop. After about an hour in the glass the black fruits and currants began to balance out the earthy flavors. Still a good amount of chalky tannins in there and mild acid. By about 3 hours in this began to fall apart in the glass a bit. I wonder if this is suffering because it's from 375ml or if this is really where this wine is. That said, it is certainly enjoyable enough and at just $10 for the half bottle, it has a relatively good QPR.

Decanted one hour and a half before drinking. Purple, little brownish colour. With the decanting lively, good fruit in the nose. In the glass good, clear and fresh fruit in the nose, although the wine is to cold. Taste: again clear and fresh fruit and a rather good structure. A hint of chocolate and mint/After Eight. At the end – probably because the temperature was better – the taste became more rich. Fitted well with the lamb of the dish. Mostly because of the structure: an enjoyable wine. (At the second day the taste was more faint.) 84.

Beautiful garnet red, yellow edge, 4½. Classic cedar, pencil nose with fruitness behind. Elegant taste, balanced tannins, fine fruit, fine finish. Perfect now and will propably keep another 2-3 years.
