PnP, but opened with some air time. With cellar time, this wine has matured and become more interesting and rounded. It is a well balanced, medium plus to full bodied pinot showing mostly dark red fruits and earth notes, with some bright red fruit, spice, and juicy acidity. The finish was medium plus, and I would expect the wine to hold for another year, or more.

Yes a huge intense fruit bomb, rhubarb and strawberries, drinking pretty smooth now BUT why call it pinot noir? Call it Santa Rita red and I've give it a 92. The wine has no pinot noir finesse, not much complexity after the initial fruit blast. But was great with peking duck and hoisin pork buns, YUM!

About as rich a Pinot as I have tasted in years. If you like them full bodied this is the one. If you want a delicate Pinot this is not for you.
