This is still holding up remarkably well. Very smooth, tannins integrated, but still rich concentrated cherry fruit flabours beneath a lightly textured sensation on the palate. Decent length, no mustiness or sign of fading. Well-balanced, stood up well on it's own or against lightly spiced food. Really enjoyed this one and will keep the last one for a couple of years - but doubt there is much evolution left now.

This Red Burgundy has aged well. Has backed away from a tarter to more rounded acidity, from austere to smoother tannin, from reticent to more open fruit, and from lightly gritty to lightly silky texture. Decent concentration with excellent balance, edging toward a plummy fruit. Enjoyable by itself and even more enjoyable with a wide range of food.

Good QPR - darker cherry flavors, good acidity, nice drinker with food, not real complicated but enjoyable. Not long lasting but should go 5-10 I would think. Would buy again if I came across.

Russk Ken and Andrea brought to Whiners at Paul and Ana's house. My second favorite burgundy out of 6 and one of my 3 WOTN.
