  • Happy to enter the first cellartracker note on this special wine. Though given how few bottles are owned maybe it won't get read? This was the first aha! wine for my now wife. We drank a ton of it early on an I had tucked on bottle away for science, this is that bottle. While just QbA or equivalent, this has always been incredibly engaging. Bright aromatics, salts and length to the finish. Toted this bottle over to Piccolo for a b-day dinner (for me!). The wine starter out strong and finished stronger. Dynamic light-toned fruits, bit of apricot, bit of peach. Acidity offered food-friendly structure and the finish is salts/slate/leesy deliciousness. On my greatest QPR of all time list and was happy to enjoy this last bottle at a quiet dinner for two.
