  • Had this bottle yesterday night. When opening the bottle, the smell was like an old Bordeaux (20 years old). It was definitely not a conventional Shiraz nose. At first, I was thinking maybe the bottle had gone bad. When pouring it into the decanter, I could see that the wine turned orange (tuilé). When I started to drink, no fruit left, only soft tannins. This wine was due at least 2-3 years back. Really not bad, but not what you would expect.
