moderate and pleasant with some enjoyable flavor, some roundness and improved when slight sourness passed after a few minutes. i prefer remelluri reservaat this price point ($30), but that is not available in my market. I.e. even the reserva remelluri is better than the granreserva montecillo, and the gran reserva remelluri ($75) is of course far better. As someone mentioned about the montecillo, the reserva remelluri is also a better value than the gran reserva remelluri.

A bit fruity (berry/raisin) with light earthy, leathery tones. A bit of tartness in the finish. Layers of flavor that blend nicely. Lacking in the oak, and tannins are muted. Medium bodied.

enjoyable and balanced maybe a little bit too easy with this strong vanilla coming from small oak barrels
