The nose has taken on secondary aromas of bbq meat, mushroom, earth, damp undergrowth. The palate still has some black cherry fruit but has really taken on those secondary savoury flavours of earth, mushroom and cooked meats. Very enjoyable, prefer it when it’s had some bottle age rather than the younger version of this wine but needs drinking up if you soon if have any left.

This has developed nicely since I last tasted it. Pale ruby, pronounced aromas of red cherry and raspberry fruit, blossom, violets, cedar and toast. The flavours are of red cherry, spice and cedar, tannins completely integrated with a medium length, moreish finish.

Pronounced red cherry nose. The palate is quite difficult to deal with, it's quite tannic still, tons of acidity, greeness and limited amount of red cherry fruit. Basically a lingering sour finish. This remains disappointing, two bottles left but I'm not convinced it will resolve itself given it is entering its twilight years....

starting to loose the strength of its fruit making it a bit too soft.
but highly drinkable nonetheless
