Garnet with medium viscosity in the glass. Nose was explosive with red and dark fruit upon corking. The nose became more austere as it opened, showing earth, minerals and graphite. Medium body with fresh, polished red and dark fruit. Secondary pepper and chalk. Lively acidity and tart minerals. Tannin needs a couple more years to integrate. Medium finish. 89+
