Slightly orange rims at the edge. Ripe black fruits and some sweet herbs on the noose. Good concentration with nice acidity and velvety tannins. High bodied, lack of complexityy, clean but warm finish. It is at the top of its drinking maturity.

2009 is the debut vintage for this producer from southern Thrace. The 'Prestige', is one of their premium bottlings where organically grown Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot with little Syrah and Grenache -one third of which was aged in multiple types of new French oak for 18 months- was used. Deep ruby in colour with a core of dried black fruit is accented by scents of forest floor and earth. The sweet attack is lifted by matching acidity, ripe, well integrated tannins and opulent black fruit flavours despite the warm finish.

Deep ruby with a medicinal nose dominated by cedar and bramble fruit under which notes of cherry, cranberry and sour cherry alond with a spicey edge are noticed. The most complex wine among the Barbare selection with drying tannins and a medium length finish.
