  Smokey wet grass, honey nose. Fumé Blanc style. Gooseberry, grapefruit, *definite* buttered toast. Long finish showing malolactic evidence. Best part: the acidic balance - neither flabby nor enamel etching. Recommendation to the winemaker: tone down the toast.
