  The wine is clear slightly dull deep in color and concentrated. No evidence of sediment. The color is a deep garnet. On the nose are scents of sour cherry, red fruit, and minerals. On the palate the wine has a soft, full mouth feel with red fruit dominant. There is also cedar and leather notes. There is a heavy tannin backbone. quite surprised as the age brought this beauty together....

  Decanted 1/2 hour. Well-melded nose & palate of black fruit, cherry, worn leather and mocha, resolved tannins and lengthy finish.

  More of the same from my previous bottle/notes - well balanced, with notes of dark berries & black fruit, sandalwood, and worn leather. Enjoyable weight with soft tannins and a long, silky finish.
