Final bottle. Nicely full palate with a yeasty apple nose. Sharp acidity compliments the rounded body. English sparkling wine at its best...and shows it can age well too!

Light, crisp, appley. Not as yeasty or toasty as a champagne would be. But it'd make pleasant summer drinking, maybe with some strawberries, at an afternoon tea party.

Medium straw, medium distribution of small bubbles, consistently enamating. Medium(-) aromas of yeast, red berries and apples. Dry, medium-medium(+) acidity (a tad harsh), medium(-) alcohol, medium body. Medium flavours of red cherries, oak notes, mineral-earthy notes, savoury almost, rather complex palate. Foamy mousse, medium finish emphasizing acidity. Less delicate and refined than a comparable product from across the Channel. Goes better with food than on its own.

Apples, nuts, touch of brioche and a whiff of yeast. Slightly creamy texture, fairly sharp acidity. Delightfully pleasant as an aperitif.

My first experience with English sparklers. And, I thought, rather tasty as well. Green apple fruit, not a precise as Champagne maybe, but very tasty.
