  rich and dark wine for a Chianti Classico. has a small amount of cab sauvignon if I recall correctly and it impacts quite a lot the wine.
  structured, firm tannins, quite bold fruity notes of dark cherries, toast, oak, medium + acidity and some cab spices (very noticeable when the wine was a bit chilled). Overall quite good, but somehow a bit everywhere without the focus and sharpness to be outstanding. Not sure/convinced about this mix with cab... it is not bdx like, not chianti like, something in between trying to find itself on this vintage. I have drunk better vintages of that cuvée.
