  Wonderful, ambitious Bordeaux impersonator, although I admit to a lack of knowledge on the Loire, so apologies if that is a much closer comparison. Dark fruits (cassis, blackberry) with some green pepper. Slightly drying and a touch bitter, but in a young wine with great potential sort of way.
