Color is nice and dark with no aging on the edge. Brighter red fruit like strawberry and raspberry on the nose. Very smooth and light tannins and good acid. Not a full mouth coverage wine with very little on the back end. Most prevalent flavors strawberry, red plumb and slight anise and a medium finish. Overall I was quite pleasantly surprised, especially due to it’s age. It tasted like it smelled and most certainly a peak so drink ‘um if you got ‘um!!!
Had along side a 2009 Krupp Brothers Veraison & 2007 William Hill Napa Cabernet with smoked Tri-Tip and Chimichurri. Although I GREATLY enjoyed both, I found the Krupp Brothers to be more opulent and rich and more in line with my palate.

Pulled this out of the cellar for a weeknight glass. I left it out for about 1.5 hours and it still had a "funk" on the nose. It tasted it ok but will not be buying more of this wine. I don't think it was a flawed bottle, just maybe past its prime on an average bottle to begin with.

Ready now. Age has likely softened this wine; now with light-medium tannins, deep color and an even structure. On first open, the nose is rich with berries, chocolate and somewhat dusty. Yes, the palette is a bit one dimensional without a huge finish on the back, yet has very good balance overall...would share with others!

Drinking very well. Black fruits, pepper, some dirty veggies. If scoring 90-92.
