This is singing. Red/black cherry, cocoa, a bit of earth. Integrated medium acid/tannins. A touch floral. Long finish, balanced. Just everything once could ask for in a merlot.

So after a 5 year hiatus, i had my last bottle. Wow, this is singing right now. Red fruit, black cherry. Hint of spice. Medium body. Fruit is still so pure it us the thing that just stands out. Dave this was just a killer bottle that more than stood the test of time.

Popped and poured. Good mix of black cherry, currant and some toasted oak and chocolate notes. Similar flavors on the palate along with some juicy black plums. Medium acid and tannins. Good with food or on its own.

PnP, and had with Steak dinner. Sometimes you can't realize how good a wine is unless you have drank it after some lesser wines. Beautiful dark fruit, complex layered flavors. Wine has some gravitas to it. Oak treatment hits the nail on the head. Great balance. Consistently great wine from this producer. This bottle may have been my favorite of the vintage so far. Must make a note to hold off on my 2010's as long as I can.
Mrs. Coupe raved about it as well.

Tasty bottle of Merlot. Nice intensity and balance with plummy fruit, and a nose that had a rubbery note that evolved into cherry fruit rollup.
