Wow! A cab drinkers merlot that is truly in a right bank style. Fruit is well balanced and secondary and tertiary development is excellent here. I don’t think age will benefit much for my palate. This is a sweet spot.

Wow, my last of a dozen bottles purchased from the winery on release. Part of a Right Bank styled tasting with my wine group and this was everyone's first or second favorite of the night (my favorite), with the 2015 Domaine de Cambes, being the other favorite. Long and smooth finish.

Brought to Nosh for dinner with speaker. This bottle had a bit of tannic grip initially but smoothed out nicely with air. Midweight, nice fruit, good herbal notes, and decent acidity to keep it food friendly. This bottle drank really nicely. The remaining one should keep for another few years, but not much reason to wait.

See other notes, muted aromas and flavors, opened over 3 hours with air: 87-91. Poor qpr.
