  In great shape and a delightful bottle. Remarkably full and rich for a fairly loose-knit and early drinking vintage, in perfect condition with ripe fruit and the beautiful old sweet fruit flavor you only get in wines 40 or more years old. Probably never had any complexity, and not particularly long, so don't get confused and think this is great wine. But it was perfectly preserved old Burgundy with no flaws and good fruit, and that always works for me.
