Really hitting its stride! The acidity has been tempered enough to allow flavors of papaya and mandarin orange to express themselves behind the citrus notes. As the wine opened, beautiful warm spice notes emerged, but, what makes this wine special is the long lingering butterscotch tinged mineral notes. Give this a couple more years to reach and peak, however, wouldn't let it go too much further than that.

Beautiful bouquet of gourd, creme brulee, and lime. Palate has a lot of acid, but the papaya and drooping hard cheddar comes out in the end.

This wine is fantastic, which is shocking given that every recent bottle we have had of Maltroye has been badly premox.
Great purity, balance and medium long length, with notes of honey, vanilla, citrus and oak. Not a hint of premox.

Sadly, this is oxidized. Primary note is caramel. Still somewhat drinkable,but not if you are a burgundy connoisseur.

Good minerality, with flint. Still a little early - juicy mouth feel, with firm acidity. Notes of toasty oak and apricot. Will only get better. 90-91.
