From double-magnum. As tasted 27 months ago (in magnum), perfectly melded and at absolute peak. Beautifully mature RRV pinot noir, this bottle would've held right here for another 3-5 years.

From magnum. Appropriately dark ruby color, slightly opaque with mildly bricked rim. Soft baking spice and black cherry nose, at this age faithfully carrying-over to the palate. Mildly oaky and goodly jammy with enough structure to easily last another 5 yrs (in this format). TGE's first vintage, 100% Martini Clone Pinot Noir planted in 1997 by Davis Bynum.
