  A bit of a non-sequitur. Very un-rose like. I think if the wine were white, I might have liked it better. A review said it had the oomph to stand up to food, and it does, but it doesn't square with the appearance and mouth-feel, the overall experience of the wine. I have had other Marsannay roses that I have enjoyed, this one didn't give the same pleasure.
